Bunshichi is simply a badass. The "red feather" and "white feather" families don't have a monopoly on the human capacity to be excellent hand-to-hand fighters. They just happen to have been working hard to develop those skills.

I can't get into the IRC channel. Sure you can. Load an IRC client and connect to irc.irchighway.net. Then join the channel named #manga-translation. Then note that the message when you enter the channel says no licensed manga. Then look at DC Comics' press release about them licensing Tenjo Tenge....

Tenjo Tenge is released on a monthly basis in Japan. Every six months or so they release a tankoban containing six chapters. Fugu has been working with the tankoban because they're higher-quality prints and more affordable than getting a translation of Ultra Jump just for one title.
