It looks like CMX Manga has put up some sample pages from their three release titles!! Now we can look at some of the results of their hard work! To view them, go to http://www.cmxmanga.com , click on a book, then click on the "View Interior Art" link near the bottom They are presented as PDF files ...

I had the same exact problem, and since I never had any problems watching 1 through 10, I never thought it as a codec problem. I ended up posting everywhere to try and find a solution. It turns out that the person who encoded 11 and 12 was different than the people who encoded 1 through 10, so natur...

Hey Silvermyst, I hadn't read the "About" page before, but after taking a look at it now, I'm very happy with what was presented. It's clear that DC wants to maintain their good name as the pinnacle of comic book publishing. Let's hope that it isn't just all talk. solidis1, your perspective is very ...

Hey everyone, for the past few days, there was only a splash page, but now it looks like www.CMXMANGA.com is up and running. Earlier in this thread, I mentioned that if we all want to see Tenjo Tenge released in its pure, uncensored form, we should email DC about it. Now that the CMX site is up and ...

Re: annoyance
I personally didn't enjoy the fact that they changed Aya's hair from black to ... umm... I have no clue what to call that color... orange? brown? dirty-blonde?! I didn't even realize that it was Maya at the end song that the puzzle pieces together till I read the manga translations and was shocked ...

Apparently, the host of BoxTorrents got owned by ADV, so now they're gone, for now. It was BoxTorrents' own fault I suppose, making licensed and domestically-released DVD rips available, but I don't want to be a hypocrite, and this isn't the place to talk about that anyway, so I'll leave it at that....

animeone is probably the best out of the 3 or so group fansubbing. I've been getting only aoi-anime/anime-station though since they're faster in translating and whatnot. Their translations are pretty decent as well, but yea... I've finally given in and started watching the anime fansubs, since I've...

Yes, I too am wondering where the manga is going. I also wonder what the anime will do once it catches up with the manga, which it will, and apparently very soon if it continues to air every week. I think it would be neat to see an alternate storyline exclusive to the anime. And as for the manga, it...

So if you guys want a good adaption with a semblence of the original story then beg DC not to let Giffen, the one who adapted Battle Royale and Ikkitousen, get anywhere near their manga licenses. Oh god, I forgot that Keith Giffen does a ton of work for DC. While he may be known as a comic book "le...

Geez, that was quick. Too bad I just started ordering some of the Japanese manga. =P It's probably a bit early to tell, but for those who have checked out the new translations, who does a better job: Evil Genius or Manga-Heaven? [/i] EDIT: BTW, for anyone who is interested, Volumes 1-7 of Tenjo Teng...

P_Amiel BTW, Tokyopop has had some HORRIBLE translations. Ever check out Battle Vivixens (aka Ikkitousen)? They were very... liberal... in how they translated that manga. Yeah, unfortunately, I know that they've really some pretty bad translations. My example was Battle Royale. But what I was reall...

A lot of you mentioned how manga is seriously butchered or has its images censored and whatnot when it is licensed. Well, maybe its just me, but I don't think I have actually seen a manga that got censored once it was brought over to the States. If any of you are fans of Battle Royale and have looke...
