Just some little comments on the translation:
Page 2, bubbles 8-9 - those are Aya's lines, not Maya's.

Page 6, bubble 7. "脳ã￾®ä¸­èº«" seems to be some special term, but I can't find a good translation either. Maybe something like "state of mind". Maybe the intended meaning of the sentance is something like "The only thing on his mind is that cutie..."

Page 7, bubble 3. I would generally translate "望むã￾¨ã￾“ã‚￾" as "You're on!" or something along those lines (indicating a sense of bravado when faced with a challenge).

Couple of translation comments for Fugu:

page 147 / 8
For bubbles 3-4, I think Maya means "I am... no different..." (ie no different to Shin and Mitsuomi), particularly since she repeats this bit on the next page.

"raget"? Regret? If that's for "殺æ„￾", shouldn't it be something like "intent to kill"?

The kanji on the guy's eye is the "fuu" part of the fairly common (in mystical anime/manga) word "fuuin" - it basically means "seal". I guess trying to shut down his physical eyes and see with his "mind's eye"?

We have to also consider a possibility that Aya is being kidnapped in order to tap into Reiki's power. Or stop Aya from getting to Reiki. There are several possibilities. So we might not be able to dwell much on her. But that is for the future. 2 months at least... But they don't seem like kidnappe...

First, thanks MrProphet for the link. Second, seems like my fears of Maya dying were founded after all. In retrospect if Aya's ki activated Reiki and Reiki resurrected Maya then it makes sense that once Aya runs out of Ki Maya dies... :( Let's hope Maya comes back somehow or that she simply fainted...

Some other comments about this chapter: Not sure what the babe ("Shoujou"?) and the boy (Kabane) beside Aya are doing. The boy says that Aya's "Ki" is flowing out rapidly and thinks only Reiki could do that - he also knows that her mind is "elsewhere". The babe comments that it's a bit of letdown th...

I think it'd be much more interesting for Aya to master Reiki, and this seems to be where the story is heading. Aya is good with swords, Souichirou has zero training. Aya has already used Reiki, and swore to Shin that she'd master it and not lose. Aya helps Maya use Reiki in the most recent chapter....

And doesn't anyone think that Reiki is just too Deus Ex Machina this chapter? So iron/steel can't hurt Tetsuhito? No problem! Now it magically can because ... well, because Reiki shed its skin or something. There better be a damn good explanation for that. Otherwise it's just sloppy writing banking...

I think this is supposed to mean "I got kicked back from the banks of the river Styx by Aniki", where Aniki = big brother, ie Shin.

Well.. we already know that Shin somewhat haunts that blade (due to scene with Aya), so maybe with Tetsuhito touching the blade directly, it was enough to activate?

Ogre is better perhaps. I didn't have any real reason to translate it that way, just didn't think leaving "tengu" would make any sense. I'll go back and change it to ogre I think. I like the new HTML style Fugu. Two comments on the text - not so much the translation, but what is implied by the original Japanese. Page 3 - "Go back to being just a normal woman". In Japanese terms, a "normal woman" is someone who gets married, has kids etc. Subtle reference to Souichirou perhaps...

Going back to my "original manga better than anime" comments, I thought of another one - I think the Hellsing anime is very good (though not so much the 2nd half which wasn't based on the manga). I'm not getting the fan-subbed versions since getting the raws is good enough - not much different to the original manga and we have Fugu's translations. I liked ep 5 quite a bit. I like the notes integrated into the pages better. Nice improvement. Could you make the reference numbers that appear by the actual translation a bit bigger please? They're quite hard to spot currently. I generally spot the notes first, then spend a while trying to find what line they're referring to.
