It sounds like you are hoping for some gruesome stuff to happen to Tsumuji (the younger) because of the torture he put Enmi Enma through. I agree; he's a pretty sick guy. The author is doing a pretty good job of establishing why the "bad guys" in this story are undeserving of sympathy. Earlier in t...

Personally I've been happy with the chapters thus far in volume 10 for a couple of reasons: Nagi is supposed to be the main character. Oh Great has been very clear about this all along. The plotline appears to be moving in a forward direction again (as opposed to twisting in the wind with flashback ...

Anyway who would win in a fight against Mitsuomi and Bunshichi when he was at his best. Because he beat the living daylights out of Shin while having his legs pierced. I think he have a good chance. What a silly question to ask. It's simple: Bunshichi doesn't lose fights. What was it that Mana call...

The artwork changes are pretty dramatic.

As for file sizes, I'm paying for my internet connection whether I use it or not, so heck. Big props to Fugu for scanning and translating it for us!

heh, the anime probably made it really popular! I suspect that the simpler artwork made it more appealing for US retail from the eyes of some businessman somewhere. Or maybe the folks behind TJTG's business end aren't as open to the us market (heck, maybe they know they have good product and won't ...

Ive seen a few more episodes of the anime for Ikkitousen and I must admit that the plotline it coming together much better than I expected. I can't read Japanese, and none of the scanslation folks that originally picked up the title have gotten more than a couple chapters into volume two, so I canno...

I got you mostly covered: http://www.sonic.net/jdf/images/vgd/ Again, I didn't take shots of narration/train announcer, and again you'll probably want to xfer the files over to your webserver so folks don't get 403: Forbidden errors when referenced to my copy. Thanks for all the work you're doing on...

I heard on the radio that some trains were derailed, and there were at least 120 injuries. No deaths reported as of the last I heard.

I don't put much time in the webpage though, so if you want to do something with that, it is always nice. I thought that I had done an incomplete job, and was just sitting down to get a couple more pics up for you, when I realized that Shibatai (the last person in the character list) is just a typo for Shibata (from a cellphone conversation in a car). Shall I grab some pics of narration and sound effect...

You may have also noticed that chapter 1 was only half as long as chapter 2. It looks like VGD is simply a series in which the mangaka makes the installment as long as it takes to tell the story, however long that may be. Interesting story, though.

I've placed pics of all the non-pictured characters up to and including Ai's sister at http://www.sonic.net/jdf/images/vgd/ for ya. I used a 216px max width, as there were no particular guidelines given, and that's the widest VGD pic you've got in there. Please note that direct-linking to these pics...

Front page generates assy HTML. Use the FREE composer that comes as part of Mozilla. It is much better. About as Ass as Ass gets. And I'm not talking about the Natsume Sisters kinda Ass. Good potential here

Very nice. I like the reactive bondage-gear that comes into play when the boxing enthusiast gets angry. I could see that as being a very handy plot device if used sparingly (If it gets all wiggy every chapter, that'd be wasteful IMHO).

The lessons of one will not necessarily work well with the lessons of another until you're ready fo...

Well, I've got some good news and some bad news for you:

Bad news is you're never going to blast a hole through a cast-iron skillet at range like Nagi did.

Good news is your flesh won't erupt off your leg spontaneously, either.

I suppose it was also handy during her showdown with Isuzu, and it illustrates that she has a tremendous amount of self-control.

if you really want to keep if from happening again and you suspect that the offender is on a dynamically assigned IP (such as the result of PPP) then you should probably block the whole /24 subnet it's on.

I personally wouldn't be too suprized if Aya or Maya doesn't survive to the end of the series. I'd say Bunshichi. He appears to be the only character attending the acadamy with a brain installed. This may seem odd, as he's repeating for the third time straight, but it's also unclear what the heck the subject matters are at that school (other than the bald teacher talking about the history of ...
