Hey there. I installed PHP and MySQL on fugu, and now I've set up this nifty PHPBB. Much, much faster than Yabb2, so I can actually run it be able to get some work done.

We'll see how things go...

I'm glad to see the board back. It is really faster (and has a better look than the old one =P).

It is just the default PHPBB style. I don't really have too much time to mess around with this stuff. I did at least swap out the PHPBB logo with the Mangatranslation.com logo though. heh.

Over the weekend, I might check out the php code to do some stuff with images, but I've got a lot of work to do now.

no need to touch the php code. Just change the style sheet.
e.g. http://www.phpbb.com/styles/

someone noted that the versions on the site are a bit older, which may cause a problem. I don't know about that.

No no, I don't just want to change colors. I want to add images for each board that are particular to the board. So I'll need to modify the php slightly. It isn't a difficult thing to do. It will be fun actually; I'm looking forward to it. I just need to get some spare time...

I never did get around to adding in code to put an image for each board, but there is a (crappy) tenjo tenge theme for the board if you go hunting for it in preferences.
