Here's the cover. Looks like it's Aya-2. Larger version in a couple of days, most likely.

Beautiful colors. Oh! Great draws simply amazing dress patterns.

PS: Oh, and on a side-note, Oh! Great won the Kodansha manga award for Air Gear recently. Congratulations, sensei. 8)

Gorgeous as usual, and I agree his detail on clothes is just amazing. Something that seemed to go a little unappreciated during this past arc. Wow only 4 days 'til the next chapter, time just flies.

The seem to be also attaching these cards with the vol. 15 release.

God, please make that Maya card something like an insert for vol. 15 as well.

Err... no. Those are to be given away to 15 lucky readers in Japan.

Here's a HQ scan of v15 cover I just did (had to keep it 250KB to fit on tinypic though):

The volume itself has 4 extra image pages as well (one with some text too).

There's also 3 pages which I think are about historical background only. I don't think it'll necessarily help explain the discrepancies in the story...

It'll be interesting to see what they are.

What about the inserts? Have we already seen them all, or any new color stuff?

My copy is still on its way here.

Here's two of the two extra pics:
http://i4.tinypic.com/15cm2ja.jpg
http://i5.tinypic.com/15cm36h.jpg

They come just after page 21 on Fight 21 (just after the pic of the Earth).

The other two are from a double-page, and are in Fight 90, and basically show Aya/ghost arriving (not THAT interesting to be honest)

The first insert is that uber-cool pic of Souichirou (part samurai part modern).
The other is like an inverted colour version of the double page colour pic of Aya in Fight 94 (pages 2-3).

Nothing else of note.

Nope, not even that.

I'd like a nice one of that picture too...

BTW, can someone translate these three?

They were included in vol. 15. Just a overall description will do, if they have something interesting at to the story.

it's information about the names, titles, locations, temples, and other historic information used in the ancient arc. I just glanced at it, and it was enough to make me not want to try and translate it. I probably should, but with all I have going on right now, I'll be happy to get this chapter done this week.

I got my copy over the weekend. I'll probably take a shot at it if and when I have the time, since it interests me. But given my standard of Japanese, don't expect any miracles.

I dig this old thread up. The volume 15 has been released in France this month and indeed, there were not much changes.

French translation is always and still unclear... And it's funny to say that you understand much better with Fugu's work.

But well, about the three pages...

It seems Oh Great is very interested and about history, particulary historiography (I am historian, so i pretty much understand him lol) and debates.

The first one explain the choice of Oh Great to confuse Akechi Mitsuhide and Tenkai. He tells us that there is a historical debate about it and he decided to apply the theory Mitsuhide = Tenkai ( = Sohaku ). And he explains why.
Some reasons (more or less, come from the same place, were born the same year, Tenkai appeared when Mitsuhide disappeared... ...)

The second is about Itto Ittousai, Ono Jiro and Zenki. Here is another debate... How come Ono Jiro defeated Zenki and Itto Ittousai disappeared ? He thinks that in fact, Zenki defeated Ono Jiro but pretended to be Ono Jiro and then killed Itto Ittousai.

And the last one is about Honda (Sohaku's chambellan) who really existed and was known as a great diplomat. About a Yagyu (fighting for Sohaku) and eventually, some expeditions in Korea by Hideyoshi and Ieyasu
