Whatever happened to Bob's gigantic penor?

Wow! Really thought Bunshichi was around the same height as Mitsuomi and I really didn't think Bob was that tall.

Is that the headmaster of Todou Gakuen?

Looks like it. Since he's holding a microphone in his hand it's probably the speech before the tournament just like in the past arc.

Just bought the latest Ultra Jump on the way home from work. It's sitting there on my couch. It has a nice Dogs cover. I'm too tired to crack it open though. Work has been crazy this month, straight 80 hour weeks.

Things should lighten up a bit going into January though, so I hope to do some translation.

Funny how Oh! Great is doing an extra special bells-and-whistles anniversary chapter for the release of Trick 150 of Air Gear, but no love for Fight 100 of Tenjou Tenge.

That hurts, you know... ^_-

Gotcha!

Well, what can I say? The tournament is f**king ON! Tagami is back with more badassery. Masa is a dirty, dirty boy. Nothing super-revealing.

Pretty much a chapter of "There-was-this-obscure-character-I-think-his-name-was-Masataka-let's-try-to-remember-him". He's cute, as always.

A very entertaining chapter to say the least. Thanks for the DD MrProphet.

I'm assuming that DVD was some sort of motivation. It sure would've gotten me motivated.

A secret weapon from Kurei's secret stash.

From the looks of it Kurei seems to have intended to give Taka another DVD probably with info on opponents but accidently gave him one that Kurei filmed secretly.

Thanks MrProphet. I'd just also like to extend Holiday Greetings and wishes of a successful and joy-filled coming year to one and all, especially to Fugu Hakase for all his great translations. Unpaid but not unappreciated, Fugu. :D

Mr. Prophet, thanks for the DL link.

Agent_Wax, thanks for the kind words.

I'll start translating soonish I hope. I've been translated Vulgar Ghost Daydream lately and have been enjoying that.

Some notes:

Shorinji Kempo is a Japanese religion-based martial art, not to be confused with Shaolin Kungfu from which it derives it's name.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shorinji_Kempo

Arahan Seito appears to be based on Arai Tsunehiro:
http://www.shorinjikempo.or.jp/wsko/ins ... raiss.html

But perhaps most importantly, the organization has a surprisingly pretty president:
http://www.shorinjikempo.or.jp/wsko/ins ... sosai.html
:P
She's the daughter of the founder.

The leader of the Bowgun Team is a dead ringer for DC Comics character Jason Blood, aka The Demon:

He even has a Pentagram attack layout...

Not a good move since that is what causes Masataka to be late... :P

Very interesting to see, once again after Osaka, Oh Great being a fan of warcraft, military strategies.

Thanks Fugu for this fast translation !

Hmm interesting Tagami helped them out.

Well, it's simply the Bushido in my opinion. Tagami has a strong code of honour and it seems that he considers Emi's strategy as low and contrary to Bushido.

Don't you think he looks classier than the previous Tagami ?

Yeah, I thought that was completely in line with Tagami's character, and also well explained.

Oh! Great is making me learn all sorts of crazy war defense terms that are useless in everyday conversation around here.

Kinda seems like the status quo since the ancient arc. X)

I expected to see Nagi fight in this chapter, and of course to see Kago Souhaku  but all I saw was Aya's boobs [not very surprising] and a couple of good fight scenes, like when Masataka destroys the crosbow...it's great, and my friend really liked it,but for me..not enough blood! oryaaaaaa ~_~

I enjoyed it and was not disappointed. Masataka seemed to have lost his place in the past couple of volumes, nice to see more of an emphasis put on him again. Seems like its headed for Masataka V Someone BIG fight sooner or later (as predicted by many earlier on).

Of course, now you have to find a way to randomly sneak them into conversation.
