For example: In the past ten years since the last chapter, all the main characters died, and now we are focusing on the martial arts world ruler will be decided by the person who can best ride the "Air Surf board", a new technology that is just like surfboards but they fly in the air. While there are lots of good people at this sport, the relatively unknown newcomer who has never tried it before has a special talent: will he aim for the top!?!?Sleepy Weasel wrote:its only been 2 chapters, what could the box possibly have to say in detail?
don't fear the box~
I literally just leafed through the chapter before hopping on the Shinkansen for a conference, but it was basically like this: Asshat is hanging out in some abandoned train car, training and chatting to a cute girl. We get some strange scenes of the school and the witch Nokimi, then Asshat starts fighting a less-zombified looking Koumikawa and gets his arm broken. That's it. Oh, and everyone seemed shocked that Asshat would fight, and were reminded of the Mitsuomi-Shin fight via flashbacks. I didn't read any text though, so damned if I know what is going on.MrProphet wrote:Good for you, Fugu. Care to give us a little morsel of a synopsis?

No eyebrows remember? Don't trust people without eyebrows, like Whoopi Goldberg and Al Gore, they're creepy but you can't figure out why until you realize they have no eyebrows.HappyStealer wrote:lol that fight of asshat looks a bit weird... he seems disfigured.... maybe its just me
Well, as the latest chapter shows, he trains quite a lot because he doesn't want to become a victim once again like it happened 3 years ago. When did he suddenly become a fighter
Too late lol, yeah they only ever show him training with boxing gloves and the only fight we ever saw was when Nagi "recruited" him and he just punched him(Nagi did comment it was incrdible punch).MrProphet wrote:Looks like kickboxing to me. Or just boxing.

Thanks I could not figure out what that panel was a picture of.iijyanaika wrote:i love on page 20 where ms zombie's fingernail is ripping off of her finger reminds me of samura's work.
and the next page with the tatami usage :p
poor sugano though, first his face gets jacked up, now his arm is completely done for. we're going to have 3 terminators soon, with all of these robotic arms. oh great was doing foreshadowing with the terminator theme music back in fight99 >.<
Yeah I'd say it's over, I really don't see Asshat trying to fight anymore, that was brutal.Ricco wrote:The way zombie girl fights seems like Nokimi overwritted her self preservation instinct(you know, how one can't use more then 20% or so of muscle power so you don't injure yourself), she's likely breaking her own bones and tearing her own muscles with the power she put behind her attacks.
His arm is finished, his tendons were more then likely cut at the elbow, the only heavy punch he has now(as a boxer) is a short range left hook, which he can't really set up with a jab since she doesn't seem to feel pain...
This fight should be over, hopefully it'll finish before he's dead or looses the use of his other arm.
I doubt it, he's going to be in too much pain.Kyu1982 wrote:Mmm, I know his arm is finished, but
Asshat at least bring her down and proves himself before the end.
But, I wonder who will fill Asshat's seat for next match.
BTW, if Nokimi is at the side of Nagi, Why would she send her puppet to fight?
Didn't Nokimi tell Asshat that she likes to help 3 people in Juukenbu?kk1 wrote:I doubt it, he's going to be in too much pain.Kyu1982 wrote:Mmm, I know his arm is finished, but

There are still 5 members Bob, Nagi, Aya, Masataka and Kurei.
"if Nokimi is at the side of Nagi" what?
Oh you mean "On Nagi's side", and I don't think she was being altruistic when she said that yeah it looks like she knew what was coming for non red feathers. Seriously? That's just a joke, he does train, that chapter when Bob came back they're all in a line and he's at the end doing a kameha wave And like Mr Prophet pointed out as long as there's 5 not everyone has to fight, in the past arc Bunshichi fought everyone alone after Maya was attacked.Kyu1982 wrote:Didn't Nokimi tell Asshat that she likes to help 3 people in Juukenbu?kk1 wrote:I doubt it, he's going to be in too much pain.Kyu1982 wrote:Mmm, I know his arm is finished, but

"if Nokimi is at the side of Nagi" what?
And for Asshat,
She told Asshat that she can see Deathgod behind him.
Maybe, she wants to retire asshat from start.
And, isn't Kurei just Alien?
If he does some fight, it would be interesting, but It would be fun to see new character or Maya comes back for team.
Of the ex generals only 8 aren't there yet.HappyStealer wrote: Wonder if we will see the ex-takayanagi flying phoenix 12 feather family....
You and everyone else, I thought we'd at least see Ishiyumi since he goes to their schoolHappyStealer wrote: And you know what I've been wondering? what happened to ishiyumi and shidzuru?
I think he just writhes in pain and Masataka or someone else steps in and all hell breaks loose, it's been building up now for the last 3 chapters something is going to happen.Ricco wrote:I just thought of something, in Aikido and Judo you don't let go of the opponent once you have him in a hold untill they give up(I doubt she would actually stop) or are no longer a threat(unconscious).
So instead of wandering if "Lefty" is gonna give up or not we should be wonder if she's not gonna move into a chockehold or break more bones.
Given OG! track record I say he either wins with an insane left hook/uppercut or that he ends up more or less quadriplegic.
I hope he doesn't go all "this is my fight stay out of it", 'cuz that's usually followed with the "cough-cough and die" scene, Asshat just learned to be all bad-ass I hope he also learned when to quit...kk1 wrote:I think he just writhes in pain and Masataka or someone else steps in and all hell breaks loose, it's been building up now for the last 3 chapters something is going to happen.Ricco wrote:I just thought of something, in Aikido and Judo you don't let go of the opponent once you have him in a hold untill they give up(I doubt she would actually stop) or are no longer a threat(unconscious).

It's a pretty nice one. I like the Asshat character development.
I was right! I said in fight 102:kk1 wrote: Thanks again Fugu, great work as usual. Hmm that's something I didn't think about a Kago branch family, cool, but what a gross power. Puts them in the liver? I could see the ear or brain(or the other places mentioned) but the liver, hmm well whatever. I guess that makes her and Nagi sorta related.
Cool, but I wonder if his contolling of Fu and Madoka was part of Souhaku's red feather power since I thought it was the "Flaming dragon wheel" that is the power over death, it almost seems like OG changed his mind about Souhaku's power and gave the original "possesion" power to a new character, unless it's like the dragon eye and dragon pupil where the branch family power is just a watered down version of the original. I gotta wonder what even constitutes a "branch" family? Because so far we haven't really seen one that is all that different from the original and wouldn't someone from the branch originally have to have been from the main family so why is it even a branch? In this case since Souhaku was the only head of his family ever does that mean he had a kid a long time ago that started this branch?Ricco wrote:I was right! "Nokomi's "leeches" seem to be a weaker version of Souhaku's spheres(you know the ones he gave to Madoka and had inserted in Fu Chien's eye), they provide control and a boost of power(as seen by Gushiken's body transformation and zombie Koumikawa)"
Don't branch families simply refer to (very) distant cousins, relatives or small clans hailing from similar lines of consanguinity? Souhaku doesn't have to be the progenitor of everyone after him within the Kago clan, you know. (Though I wouldn't be surprised if that actually turned out to be true...)kk1 wrote:I gotta wonder what even constitutes a "branch" family? Well since all 12 families seem distanly related(didn't Souhaku talk about reuniting the blood of the 12 families?) I'm going to assume branches are related to a main family by blood, and since Souhaku has been the sole head of his family you could assume the branch came from him though I guess the possibility exists he had brothers and or sisters who didnt have his power (like Maya) and started their own branches where their powers sprang up in future generations. And this still bothers me about Souichiro, is he genetically Souhaku's son? Since Souhaku had Shyoujyou's body, unless over time he regenerated his own body from his eye.(like his fingers?)kujoe wrote:Don't branch families simply refer to (very) distant cousins, relatives or small clans hailing from similar lines of consanguinity? Another possible explanation is that maybe some branch families are simply bound by kinship ties, and aren't really related by blood with the main line. Considering that red feather abilities are involved however, I presume there's a relationship there somewhere.
Well, Sokahu probably exchanged his body of Shyouhyou long ago with brand new body. When he was with Nagi's mother before Nagi was born, they were both young.kk1 wrote:

But him looking young could be explained by him having Shyoujyou's body, he could make himself look any age he wanted with Shyoujyou's power, I presume. Or that could be his own power making him young. Though I guess you could be right and he changed again and they could have been a member of his own family(maybe he even changed their face with Shyoujyou's power before switching too).Kyu1982 wrote:Well, Sokahu probably exchanged his body of Shyouhyou long ago with brand new body. For Kago's minor family, I think they are children of Kago more than his brother/sister of kago. Kago sohaku was the first head of Kago family.
And, all 12 family are related by blood was one in the begining.
That means, other 11 heads of other 12 family would be Sohaku's brother/sisters.
I dont think it breaks any rules, the chakras are on the body if you are in that body you can use it's gates. Nagi's is the only one that can have more than one on his own body.Kyu1982 wrote:Well, OG did not show everything about Sohaku's power.
Sohaku has an ability to revive dead and take over other's body.
But, I am not really sure he can control other family's power by taking other family's members' body.
Because I believe only family who can use multiple chacra gate is Nagi family only. If Sohaku can use special power of other family members (by taking their body), that breaks a rule in TenTen. Unless OG suddenly says Souhaku is special or something.
I really want to know Souhaku's purpose of staying in Nagi's body.
1. We can guess that he is trying to take over and use Nagi's body with nearly all Red feather's abilities.
2. He might try to be part of Nagi's body. By joining body, Nagi's power should be very close to Susa (supposely first one with all the redfeather power)
Right he can't there has to be some ki left in the body, so someone might be "medically dead" but he could revive them if there was ki still there.MrProphet wrote:I don't think that Souhaku can revive the dead, since I think the consensus on this forum was that Fu Chi'en wasn't dead... he was just really-really-really messed up.
