Hey!!! Lookin' really good!!

The only thing i notice right now is the shape of the head... it looks too "tall" for me... i mean, it's too large vertically... but apart from that, it looks great, keep it up!

Seph out.

I like the pencil drawing better, it would be perfect if the head wasn't up so high. And for the comment 'her head is to tall' : well, everyone has his/her own style :P

Anyhow, I take it you used Photoshop to colour it ? TEACH ME HOW !

Please ? :)

Hey that's good work you've got there. This one's Shin, right? The expression of his face is great and I like the hair. I actually like this piece more than the first one, but I think the left arm (the one not holding anything) is a bit larger than the right. Also, you might want to retouch his wings a bit.

Sorry if I'm being meticulous here, but old habits die hard. All in all, keep up the good work!

It's a muscle. I don't how to explain clearly--but it's the one around the armpit, near the ribs. Some people develop that through bodybuilding in order for their torso to have an overall, ideal form.

Hey, nice one. :D

Anyway, I've got a little fanart to post, too... or, let's say, two ;)

First one and second one.

Yes, it's Isuzu. I *had* to post 'em here... but I haven't drawn them by myself, my girlfriend made them for me. I wish I would that talented... anyway, have fun with 'em.

I guess fanarts of Isuzu are quite seldom, so cherish the opportunity ;)

Yeah, she used Photoshop for that... but a rather unusual technique, as she put it... but I'm not into that, so I can't tell you much about it. The only thing I know is that she doesn't use levels, which normally are used for colorizations. I'll ask her about that ;)

Owkay, thx :D

When I colour something it doesn't look bad, but I'd like it of the coulours faded into each other a little more :?

Check here for some of my outdated work :)

So, did you aks here yet ? :D

On other news, I've been working on some Ten Ten Fan Art every now and then, but I'm not happy enough with the results to scan and colour them yet ... I've been working on Maya art and Isuzu art, ... Man, Isuzu's hair looks sweet, but it's real annoying to draw, I even sacrificed my attention during chemistry and math to practice it  Not that I really mind that, but I think the best way to draw her hair is by drawing a curled piece of flat lint or by drawing a couple of rings that fit into each other, getting smaller as you go down ...

That last pic of Shin is great. :) Clean, sharp and damn smooth. The Isuzu sketch is also good. I think that one in particular has a LOT of potential if you focus on it. Keep up the good work!

And about the fishnet thing--I tried that once too, and the difficulty for me was in following the contours of the body. You should try drawing loose fishnets instead of the ones that cling to the body. Now, that's another story.

those really are great. You should finish the sketches of bob and the others like you did with shin (hard lines). I have some sketches of various things as well and would like to know how you (lcz128) colored your May sketch.

I've been trying Paint shop Pro for my drawings but it's hard to keep the lines apparent. I'm always coloring over the lines and losing the body form.

very nice work you been posting in here. Kick ass stuff. I like the colored ones sense to me it is so hard to color on he comp. Anywya here are a few of muy Tenjo Tengen inspired drawings. They are not done but still something I did once as an inspiration from Tenten

banorac : what do u mean how do u colour? ^^;;; use the brush tool? uhrmmm i think there are tutes on the net that would teach u more efficient styles~ mine's long-winded and slow XD but mainly, i use brush tool on a low opacity and set on 'multiply' mode to darken areas~ and on 'screen' mode to ligten areas :) experiment! :)

sammy : thanks! and what's that pic in ur avatar? looks cool!

Well, I meant 'how do you colour them' as in how do you get the colours to blend, you see like the first Maya art you posted here, the onlt colouring techinque I know is the one you used on the Samus pic ( I was browsing your deviantartpage, that's where I saw it )

And yeah, I know there are tutorials for Photoshop, I'm not THAT daft, but I just cant' seem to find one on how to colour things like that... I also have Procreate Painter ( came with my Wacom tablet ) but I'm just lost with that one, it seems like an old version that can't be updated, when I try to update it from within the prog itself, it leads to a site that just doesn't exist anymore ...

Anyway, thx for the info and keep up the good work ^^

hullo again~ :)
Image
that was something i started ages ago, (around the same time i posted the other pics) but haven't been able to finish :b

banorac : use the MULTIPLY mode of the brush, and set the opacity to something really low so that you can build up the gradation and colour of the part you're colouring. multiply = darkening a colour; screen = lightening a colour.

try that, dude :D

isuzu : when i have time, i will!! XD

And THX for Photoshop hints. I try to colour other people's stuff since I can't draw well myself and the stuff about using multiply for shading really saved me a lot of time...

I can tell you've practiced..... alot. very nice work. are you using reference material on most of em or just some. You have better anatomy skills than alot of people I've seen. I dont know how manga proportions are normally done.

I wish I had the patience and motivation to doodle like that. I"m taking a painting class this fall so I expect to get heavily into that. I'll do some TT paintings!!
