Tenjo Tenge vol. 12 w/ Figurine Preorder!

Post by profbobo »

Just saw this at tokyocentral.com:

http://www.tokyocentral.com/shop/exd.asp?id=2479

I preordered ... pretty pricey (almost 50 dollars w/ EMS shipping), but it looks like a beautiful figurine, and I know that if I have buyer's remorse, I won't have any trouble getting rid of it :)

Figured I'd give you guys the heads up on this one ...

Wow that sweet. Could you find a bigger pic since there isn't a zoom button on that site.

 I knew about tokyocentral the first day preorder was mentioned here.

.... but I didn't say anything.
Out of doubt, out of dark to a day's rising
I came singing in the sun, sword unsheathing.
To hope's end I rode and to heart's breaking:
now for wrath, now for ruin and a red nightfall!

There are several Maya's and a couple of Aya's.

Natsume Maya (of the Natsume Maya Goushin Ryu fame) once showed a photo of her collection. Must have been 4-5 figures, or somthing.

Hey if your still looking for a Tenjo Tenge vol. 12 w/ Figurine Preorder!
I think http://www.mangaoh.co.jp./ is still taking orders. if you go to http://natsumemaya.terminus.net.au/ you can use the guide that's there to order since everything is in Japanese. They been pretty good a respondong to my emails and even answering in English.

BTW, Nippon Exchange has Tenjo Tenge vol. 12 w/ Figurine Preorder. Never bought from these guys but their site is in English.

Guess it's quite impossible to order it now ... But if anyone could help me, I'd be ever so greatful ...

See, the story goes as follows :

I read on this forum Volume 12 will be packing with a hot figurine, so I go over to the local mangashop in May and I pre-order it.
Now, a week ago I go to the store to ask if they know how much it's going to cost me, since they said they ordered it, then they tell me they CAN'T order it, because it's too late, though I ordered three months in advance ...

So I head on to another shop, can't order it anymore either ...

SO PLEASE HELP MY FELLOW TEN TEN NUTS !!!!

Simple, you walk into the store where you ordered it, with a reiki on your back, and tell them you're going to open a Dragon's gate if they don't find somewhere to get it from. But seriously, www.sasugabooks.com SEEMS to be taking orders for a $42 volume 12, but maybe they're just stupid and overselling it (they don't have any "out of stock" things up). Be sure to tell us if they actually take an order for it.

As soon as I can get someone to lend me their Credit Card, I *will* order it and tell you guys if they take an order for it :)

But, just one tiny problem, I can't seem to find it anywhere on that site :?

EDIT: found it, but is *doesn't* say if the figure is included, so they could just be fooling people by selling *only* the manga for that kind of money ...

Or if you don't like them how about these guys

http://www.nippon-export.com/catalog/pr ... ts_id=4557
Hey, thanks a BUNCH !!!

I wonder, is that second site French or Canadian ( since it's in French ), if it's friend that would be much better for me, since it's closer and the guy whose Visa i'd be using doesn't like the idea of products being held up at the customs, but we don't have that problem withe intereuropean shipments ^^

EDIT : I got happy and overexcited too fast ( again ):
Ce produit n'est pas disponible :-(
-This product is unavailable-

Well, i'm going to mail them to ask anyhow :)

Bad news for folks who use Mangaoh

They stop taking orders

Who knew Vol. 12 would be soo big

This Vol/With Figure might outsell Vol 9

Yeah, I think that has a alot to do with it selling so well. I think that is also why The manga got Licensed. Oh! Great is doing pretty good for himself. I read the last AirGear Volume that came out was in the top 10 selling mangas that month in Japan  .

Does anyone know who is going to be on the cover :?:

I got a mail back from the French site. They said they can't order it anymore, but I could still get a hold of it on their site next month :D

But they can't promise anything yet, so now let's play the waiting game :)

See if the other site can still preorder it and then of course order it from there, since that would be a sure thing to get it :)
