These have a gimmick. I think if you touch the breasts, they wobble.
Only Aya A and Chibi Maya have that jiggler design, as far as I can tell...
I admit that I'm not certain (I thought about putting more detail in my original post, but didn't in the end), and I haven't followed the news out of Wonder Festival, but I have a feeling that the gimmick may apply to all the figures in that series. If anyone's got any other info, though, please correct me.

Crap. You're right. But that's really disappointing. I'd like to pose Maya in all sorts of cool positionings, but she'll barely be visible from 5 feet away...

Have to rethink buying them now.

Maya
Aya

The Bome Figures can now be ordered from Diamond Comics.

I don't like the way he made Maya's face. Aya looks much better IMO.

Whoa!! I just saw the 'little figures' at one of Polish on-line shops. Cool. They were quite cheap.

animaxis? EMS shipping which is the most expensive but it'll be delivery within a week. HLJ if they have it, varies but usually do SAL (cheapest.. takes about 2ish weeks). Amazon.co.jp cheapest and I've been getting my stuff within 10 days or less. :)

so.. yea.

So, around, 15-20 bucks? Or cheaper (at Amazon)?

BTW, Moyism, did you see Trinity Blood yet? Just watched and it's pretty sweet (albeit being almost an exact mix of Trigun, Hellsing and Vampire Hunter D). I was wondering what others thought about the show...

Wasn't bad for a first episode though I did get a little lost in the japanese. I was reading over here a bit more about the series, and it sounds good.. if a little episodic? I'll definitely continue watching if nothing else for the great animation and seiyuu cast.

Bout the shipping bit. er.. varies cause of size and weight with animaxis and HLJ. Animaxis will defintely be $20+ for EMS. HLJ SAL should be <$10ish. And amazon.co.jp will be $15 flat if you're just ordering one thing, otherwise it's $15+$3x (x being every additional items after the first).

I've uploaded photos of my figures into the gallery. My camera can't really take decent closeups, so I apologise for the grainy quality.

The packaging when I bought them:
http://www.moyism.com/gallery/tjtg/TT1_001

"You don't deserve Mitsuomi-sama!"
http://www.moyism.com/gallery/tjtg/TT2_001

Catfight!
http://www.moyism.com/gallery/tjtg/TT3_001

Good Lord, Maya! What have you done?
http://www.moyism.com/gallery/tjtg/Maya1
And before you ask, no, there is no Makiko figure. Those are Maya's own extra arms.

Closer shot of previous.
http://www.moyism.com/gallery/tjtg/Maya2

Maya seppuku.
http://www.moyism.com/gallery/tjtg/MAya3

Out-of-this-world articulation for a 4-inch figure.
http://www.moyism.com/gallery/tjtg/Maya4
And don't tell me you weren't wondering, you liar.

"Quit staring at my butt, you pervert."
http://www.moyism.com/gallery/tjtg/Maya5

Maya is fantastically stable due to her boots. Unfortunately, though not unsurprisingly, Isuzu is unable to stand on her own 2 feet. All that weight is bad on your knees and ankles, luv.
http://www.moyism.com/gallery/tjtg/Isuzu1

Great job on the face, though you can't see.
http://www.moyism.com/gallery/tjtg/Isuzu2

Work it, you sexy thang...
http://www.moyism.com/gallery/tjtg/Isuzu3

They did a great job on her face, but what really clinched the deal for me was her hair, which is sculpted in slightly translucent pink plastic, with precise whorls and a great overall shape.
http://www.moyism.com/gallery/tjtg/Isuzu4

Oh, and in case anyone is interested, the rest of the photos from my trip to Kyoto are at http://uk.photos.yahoo.com/sephadexcolumn/

Hrm...the great posability is appealing.
Translucent hair and coloring are also very good.
But I just can't get over how the faces are painted. :(
Really awkward looking to me.

The eyes are kinda wonky, but I could live with that... But what's the deal with the fat arms? Is it like a Maya/Isuzu mixup, or something?

Here are some nice photos of PinkySt Aya.
Now THIS is good.
Sculpting, color choice ...pretty much everything looks great to me! :D
http://k4960827.web.infoseek.co.jp/toys ... jtgPk.html

But something strange.
This doll is not holding the sword in her hand.
Instead it's floating near the hand...

I think the Maya ones are best (of course). The Emi poses seem a bit strange to me (my least favourite), but I'm getting a better Emi one (and another good Maya one) :)

Wow... it's huge.

I thought it was much-much smaller and more petite, shall we say. How tall is it? And how does she hold the sword?

Heh heh, my little TenTen-Gashapons arrived yesterday, they're so cute. But Aya was really painful to construct, she's so complicated, after all.

But at least, Isuzu-chan is positioned where she should be. :D

@Natsume Maya:
Wow, those customs are really nice, imho they're looking better than most the original figures that were made. oO

Enjoy 8)

http://pics.livejournal.com/mrprophet/gallery/0002k1bf

My personal opinion? Aya is just dead-on! I mean, this IS the definitive Aya, from the schoolgirl-style loose socks, to the sailor fuku, to the absolutely 100% right on face paint.

And Maya... she is definitely brings out ye olde babe factor.

Some obligatory Aya pantyshots. God has spared us a Maya pantyshot this time, else we might die of hyperventilation.

PS Just kidding... But they are great. 8)
