It seems there is some sort of tenjo tenge story in the next issue of UJ. The preview of it shows Dougen looking at the washing machine in hte middle of the night. Which I'm guessing means Masa threw his underwear in after another Aya dream. Hmm, maybe this chapter is just pure comedy.

an omake? that would be a semi-first for Oh Great wouldn't it?

The side-print is too small, but seems to say something about Masa being a first year student. So it might be a sort of flashback story.

Anyway, TT returns to regular serialization next issue.

so thsi issue is gonna be a filler but the next one will take us where chapter 78 left off?

^^ that'll be pretty cool, seeing a slice of life how things were an year before the manga started. I hope they go into more detail of Masataka trying to join Maya's group

Last time I checked Fugu only does the trans though, not the scanalations. Maybe someone will make a scan and wallpaper of the pin up.

I've put up a nice, high quality scan of the pinup in the image gallery. Thanks to Leo- for the great scans.

I'll probably upload my translation of the "Dougen Chief Clerk Special" to IRC if anyone wants to try to distribute it more widely, feel free. I don't know if this is something that will ever make it over. Cute though - we get to see an interesting side of Dougen (makes me forgive him and like him much more as a character actually) and is just kind of funny.

I block image requests that aren't from my sites based on referrers, so I'm not sure why he would have uploaded that stuff.

btw, I did upload my translation to a bot on the irc channel, but nobody's been around that can stick it up on the bot net. ah well.

Hm, About this chapter, just to left you know I am not a Dougen fan. With that said I thought this snipet was better than the last three full chapter and I hope it is included in the in Vol. 13. Just my opinion.

thanx for teh chapter. Yea I am not a big dougen fan either but oh well. We saw a side of dougen we've never seen before. But next week's is gonna be sweet. Back to the main story. ^^

Wow. Ol' Dougen still has some fight left in him after all. Amazing.

This chapter certainly made up for all the times he was an ass in the past arc. I definitely have a better impression of him now.

Despite all Dougen's actions in the past, you gotta hand it to him. He knows how to pick up chicks. I wonder if Oh! Great will show us what Mitsuomi and Masataka's mom looked like. I'm putting money on her having been taller than Dougen.

By day, he is the mild-mannered clerk, Takayanagi-kun.

But when danger strikes he become.... The Super-Dougen!

But the funny thing is, he doesn't! He totally could have picked her up, but he was more concerned about his financial situation and his crappy boss. I thought it was pretty funny, and also enjoyed seeing a side to Dougen that I didn't know about - it also made me appreciate him as a character a bit more.
