Just got me a first volume of this series. Could...not...resist...the...urge...

Anyway, it's rather well done. I watched only the first episode, but the quality is definitely better than the terrestrial broadcast. Everything seems to be quite nice. There will be 8 DVDs alltogether. Seven discs for the TV-series, and the last disc for the OVA.

The box is the same as the R2 box: the sturdy, white box with Oh!great's artwork of Maya and Aya. The logo is terrible, but I can live with it.

Extras: a transparent pencil board with Maya on it (same art as the cover), a can with a TenTen jigsaw puzzle (yeah, I know 8)) and... that's it.

Funny thing is: amond the dvd extras is a trailer for Ikkitousen. LOL. I am so glad I managed to resist buying that one!

In this case he's referring to the Japanese release.

Tenjou Tenge TV series US release is this tuesday. That's what I'm referring too.

I'm sure If I were to look this past week I would've had it at least since wednesday.

Thought so, but Europe's got a '2' too on the DVD boxes, but I thought it wasn't possible to play Japanese imports on a European machine, or maybe that's just the case of Playstation ?

No, the region code is the same.

In case of Europe, the problem is different. Discs are coded to Region 2, but Europe uses PAL, while Japan uses NTSC.

So, while your player with play the disc, your TV-set won't show it.

Unless you have a tv or dvd player that will convert the signal. I have R2 Japanese and European DVDs and can watch both.

That is correct.

That won't work with PlayStation, though. Unless you mod it, and that's another story.
