Why is Aya's hair orange in the anime and black in the manga? Also why does Mutsumi keep saying he beat Shin when Shin clearly beat him and suicided afterwards?

Why is Aya's hair orange in the anime and black in the manga?

Manga is generally confusing regarding Aya's hair. It just varies. It's pretty much established that she has black hair, but there are artworks of her with lighter-colored hair.

Also, Shin and Maya and platinum blondes, so I guess the animators had to pick something closer.

It's one of those continuity doo-doos that Oh!great keeps having. Like Maya claiming that Mitsuomi killed his brother, or some such. He just changes his mind sometimes about these things. Don't pay too much attention to it.
