Souichirou's on the cover of UJ, with his black hair and a sword. Also, from preview it is a side chapter. The group is at a fast food restaurant, which is basically McDonald's. However, Souichirou isn't in the first page with the rest of Jyukenbu.

This month has a side story, next month has something else, and December will have chapter 88? Is that right?

BTW, somthing tells me that it was one of OG's assistants, who drew this. The charadesigns were somewhat off. And I am not talking about the goofy stuff, that's a given.

Oh, and that Nagi cover rocks. It'll probably be among some future covers.

It was entertaining to say the least. The last panel with Nagi saying "O..UFO" made me laugh.

All Nagi gets is an appearance on the last page. Still the alien stuff was pretty funny. Kinda disappointed that it appears to be drawn by one of his assistants. Please, let next months be good.

Um, can somebody upload the new cover to the gallery or to www.imageshack.us (and post the link here)
My firewall or browser or something else blocks some of the scripts and I can't see some of the images that people attach at the forums

I got the chapter. I'll translate it later - I've got to give a talk at IBM today. Give me a few days, and I'll get a script up.

"This month" is the November 2005 issue. It contains the side story.

Next month is the December 2005 issue. It will contain Fight 88.

In December will be the January 2006 issue of Ultrajump. There's no news on what that will contain yet.

Well, I'm just about done with my translation, and I wanted to get it out before I left tonight, but I just won't be able to make it. I've got a hot date, and I'm afraid that takes precedence. (Sadly, I also had to spend a lot of time doing some grading, so I wasn't able to put more than a few minutes into translation.)

Except a translation sometime after I return tomorrow, text on the website, and I'll upload image edits to the IRC channel since this probably isn't something that CMX is interested in.

Still doesn't answer Aya's question of why Kurei is in the Jyuukenbu though. He has no powers, abilities or martial arts skills and we've nly seen him use his computer skills once. Ah well maybe Oh Great will surprise us one day.

Yes, I'm sure there are two or three manga-related otaku jokes that I didn't get. I tried to add translator notes for those though.

I'm currently uploading the full pack (Raws, script, edited images, pop-up translations, xml file) to the IRC channel. So you can check that out eventually (once someone adds it to the packlist) too.

Just some little comments on the translation:
Page 2, bubbles 8-9 - those are Aya's lines, not Maya's.

Page 6, bubble 7. "脳ã￾®ä¸­èº«" seems to be some special term, but I can't find a good translation either. Maybe something like "state of mind". Maybe the intended meaning of the sentance is something like "The only thing on his mind is that cutie..."

Page 7, bubble 3. I would generally translate "望むã￾¨ã￾“ã‚￾" as "You're on!" or something along those lines (indicating a sense of bravado when faced with a challenge).

Seriously, what does Kurei see in PYON! anyway? Not that I'd advocate violence against women, but anyone who speaks like that, extraterrestrial or no, needs to get bitch-smacked like them wreslers.

A very entertaining read. Thanks for the translation Fugu. What does he see in her? Maybe....uh, she's adventerous? Bring on Fight 88!!!! I know it's a month away.

From the pic at the corner of the cover, I think the alternative cover for volume 14 will feature the pic of Nagi from the cover of the November 2005 issue of Ultrajump.

The cover says something like:

Play close attention to it, that "death". Lament it, this "life".


(of course, the "death" could be refering to Souhaku...)
