67 Percent Inertia general commentary

Comment about 67% Inertia.

Why did I start translating it? I buy Ultra Jump monthly to read Dogs: Bullets and Carnage. 67% Inertia caught my eye because it has nice art, and was pretty funny. It is also a change from my general fantasy theme. I'll probably keep translating it since I'm interested in reading it, but might take a break for a while to build up more of a backlog (another 8 or 9 chapters?)

It is also a change to have so few characters to worry about!

I've scanned a bunch more chapters, and will do some translation.

I recently purchased 67% Volume 1 (and 2 for that matter) and am going to go back and create two distributions for volume 1 and volume 2. I've finished translating volume 2, but it looks like I missed a chapter somewhere.

For Volume 1, there are about 8 additional pages in the tank that I don't have from my Ultra Jump scans. So I'm debating whether to go back and scan that stuff in. I think I probably will.

For Volume 2, for some reason:

1. My Chapter 13 is actually Chapter 14 in the tank, and my chapter 14 is actually chapter 13. So I'll switch those around.

2. The last chapter in Volume 2, the one after chapter 23, is a one-off that was never available in Ultra Jump. So I should probably try to scan that. Unfortunately, I messed up when I bought volume 2, and got the Kindle version. That's fine, I can read it on my Japanese kindle, but I don't know how to get that in a state that I can use it for my translations. So maybe I'll have to buy the physical volume to scan it (and get a few other misc pages here and there.)

I've also translated three additional chapters (24, 25, and 26 I guess?) but maybe I'll wait until volume 3 is complete before releasing those. Unless anyone is waiting on me.

Ok, I've translated both volume 1 and volume 2 now. I was able to buy the Kindle version from the JP Amazon store, and that is super cool. Sadly, the resolution on the kindle version isn't very good. I even had some trouble reading complex kanji. So I'll probably stick with my routine of getting the monthly Ultra Jump, scanning a bunch when I can get some time to myself (rare) and then use the digital volumes just for the extras included in the tankobon.

Comments are welcome.

I have four more chapters translated. Should I release those (I've got one more scanned in, and maybe will translate that in a week or two) or wait until there is a collected release for volume 3? I definitely will put a collected release together, since I like to include the stuff from the tank, but if there isn't interest in the chaps from ultra jump, I guess I'll just wait a bit.

Currently in vacation in New York. Translated chapters 35 and 36 and updated the character list to include characters through those chapters. Not many characters in this series. ;-)

I'm continuing to translate, but usually just post the collected tank volume a bit after it has been published. Thank you for the kind words.

Thank you for the offer. I've been slowly translating. I just do this stuff for fun, so I'm not trying to put things out quickly.
