The art, while not my personal cup of tea, does hide a surprisingly interesting story. I heartily recommend it, but warn that I'm very slow at translating...
It is nice not to have to worry about the scanning / editing part of things though. Kotonoha has done a gret job on that.

We joined up with Omanga to get things done faster. Vorbis, their editor, did a really good job on the sound words too. Check out the second version of chapter 1 and the brand-new second chapter here:

So then the only difference between the 2 versions of chapter 1 is that one has sound effects in Japanese and the other has them in english?

Pretty much. Some of the other lettering has been touched up too, and the opening organizational chart has been re-done with staff information in the same style.
