Hai...

recommend me a program that you guyz usually use for colouring...

Say... there's a page inside Tenjou Tenge that you like... and you want it to be coloured... what program do you used???

I recommend the Gimp (http://www.gimp.org/) because it is free, and it is a very feature-full photoshop type program.

does anyone know how oh great colors the volume covers? WHen zoomed in some look like colored pencil.

oh great uses copic markers and colour pencils! :D
i read up on how he colours his stuff while i was overseas and it's really inspiring how he can use markers and colour pencils the way he does :D

Wow, he really does use color pencils. I always wondered, but now I know. I've tried using color pencils before and the results weren't great.

From what little I admittedly know about colouring, colour pencils are not easy to work with. That guy is just really good with them. 8)

Copic markers are like the best in the biz i believe.

every good manga artist and their mama know how to use those...

Some colored pencils are better than others.
Yeah, but looking at the details he puts into his pieces, I'd say the overall quality of the pencils matters less than his skill in using them...

And how long do you think he takes to make one of his coloured pieces? I'm guessing at least 5 days of full-time work...

I find it really hard to believe he uses colouring pencils :shock:

When you use those your drawing will *always* have a "grainy" look, no matter *how* good you master the technique, it'd be like painting without texture :?

And I haven't seen a Oh Great artwork ( from the little I got ) that has a grained look :)

But, it is however very possible, since it can be surely editted :)
