But as the ghost Reiki told Aya ki dissipates when you die, he most likely reads them while they are still living and that's it just reads it, no storing etc. Why would that be necessary? And he didn't transfer any of Ono's to what's his name he just changed his face.
Well, given what's been established I would surmise that Shyoujyou turned Yagyu into Ono, and not just changed his face. A face won't really allow Ono to really 'live on'. And I interpreted the killing as necessary to release the person's ki, which Shyoujyou can absorb instead of letting it dissipate. Of course, that's just how I saw and interpreted of it. :)
I'm sure we'll find out when the present Shyoujou uses her power since the present characters we'll need to know how it works, oooh I bet she copies Aya :D (though I'm gonna guess she doesn't kill her first  )

Like I've already said, nothing in the actual text/images suggests what you are proposing, thus there is nothing to discuss here. *shrug*
Now you're just being condescending. Sure, it's just my interpretation of Shyoujyou's powers. I mean, it's not like I had any direct evidence of it, unlike your reasoning that because Nobunaga and Aya appeared at different ends of the same chapter, Nobunaga must have given Reiki to Aya. Or like when this 'ninja whore' appeared on a military gunship holding a naginata in a chapter heading she was, of course, a Wani, and anyone else who thought otherwise deserved insult. Nope, not the same at all...

But since I'm the better man, I don't bring things like that up.

Much. [/quote]

Haha dude how can you not see it's a locical fallacy :P finally someone else gets to have fun with Mr. Prophet, I feel so vindicated.

would you two cut it out?

man, for all the insight you two consistently bring to the table, I'm really surprised by the childish antics on both side.

embarrasing.

Well, I haven't even peeked at the chapter yet, so I can't really comment on the real chapter content. Hopefully this weekend I'll start the translation.

I can't wait for the next chapter. Hopefully it goes back to the present arc so we can see what happens. Wonder if aya is gonna be the one to have to save nagi if something bad happens to him. With how they made aya2 so cool, present aya has a lot of potential now. :D

ok, work has been busy, but I do hope to start translation tonight or so. I actually have set the files up and am ready to go, but unfortunately for you guys, I just recently started playing "Galactic Civilization II". I haven't played any computer games for maybe three years, but this one is good. I've probably spent about 8 hours in the past week playing that when I could have been translating... Ah well, I'll try to get started on it. After I defeat the Yor Empire tonight maybe... :P

Well, it's a start. Slow and steady, that's what wins the race. (Still haven't finished this translation since starting 7 years ago...!)

What is it you do, anyway, Fugu? Programming? Translating? Teaching? Just curious.

I'm a computational linguist that does research in automatic multi-lingual multi-document summarization. This includes programming, research about summarization, research about translation, and lots and lots of paper writing and powerpoint (or Keynote in my case) presentations at conferences. Actually, I'll be gone for a week next week to attend ACL/COLING in Australia, so I hope to finish my translation before I leave...

From http://www2.memenet.or.jp/unesco/shiras ... /si140.htm:
The tower called Cosmetic Tower is related to Princess Sen. She was born the eldest daughter of Hidetada, Tokugawa Ieyasu's son, and when she was seven years old, she married Toyotomi Hideyori, Toyotomi Hideyoshi's son. When Osaka Castle fell and Hideyori and his mother killed themselves, she was saved by Sakakibara Dewanokami. Her grandfather, Ieyasu, said he would marry Senhime to the person who saved her. In spite of this promise she married Tadatoki, Honda Tadamasa's handsome eldest son, and she came to Himeji.

Sakakibara Dewanokami Norimasa was the lord of Tsuwano (part of present Yamaguchi Prefecture). He was angry over the broken promise and thought he would take her by force. However, he was remonstrated and then committed suicide.
Princess Sen lived in a palace called Chusho Maru in West Bailey and in a lower residence called Musashino Palace in the Third Bailey with her husband Tadatoki.

Errr... a bailey is the area enclosed by the exterior walls of a castle or fortress.

Ohh haha, the way it's capitalized in your quotation makes it look like a proper name.

Fugu, did you see all the historical info I wrote up on page 1? (near the top).
Thanks for the corrections, I've made some changes. You should be translating this stuff!

I did read the historical info, but haven't had time to go back and change names. I don't think that Yodogimi vs. Yodo-gimi is such a big deal, but I'll try to fix it when I have time. It should show up next time I generate the HTML script page.

I could... if my ability to read kanji was better. I've translated a LOT of manga with furigana. If I tried to translate a series like Tenjo Tenge, I'd be spending about 80% of the time looking up kanji...

It's like writing Hondasan instead of Honda-san....
I see it's been changed - I guess you did a search/replace eh :)
