Sakuraba??!! Inosanto Dan??!! Ahahahahahahah!

Anyways, what I particularly liked about this chapter is Shin's explanation of fate and destiny. Does anyone of us really have 'free will'?

BTW, Fugu, as you can probably tell from the first link above, Junfan kungfu or Junfan Jeet Kune Do is the kungfu style devised by the late Bruce Lee.

yea, I don't have a doubt that particular character was modeled after Bruce Lee...

I received an email about this from Michael Surbrook:

Jyunfan Gunfu should be Jun Fan Kung Fu. It is name of Bruce Lee's self-developed martial arts style. It is also known as Jeet Kune Do. For the record, Inosato Dan is dressed as Bruce Lee from his film "Game of Death" (see the recent HK comedy Shaolin Soccer" for more of this schtick). Finally, Dan Inosanto was one of Bruce's top students, and still teaches Jeet Kune Do.

and a similar one from Nicolas Le...

The Dan Inosanto reference surprised me.
So who's Sakuraba? And anyone know if the other 5 are references to real people?

maan...slow down Fugu!

At the end of Book 7 already...
At this rate you're gonna catch up to Ultra Jump's releases soon!
Doesn't CU have midterms or other amusements to keep you busy? ^^;;

Thanks for the great chapter.
Always appreciate your hard work.

I have been busy... But it turns out that when coding extensively, as I was last week, I like to take a break every hour or so and translate a page (takes like 10 minutes...)

I'm a graduate student, and haven't taken classes in a while. I haven't taught recently either though, which is good because that is a real time sink...

I was more taken by the early incident.

Did Asshat really think he could take the girls with his "flash attack"?
What a dork!

I really like Asshat as comic relief, much more than Masataka. Granted, Masataka isn't strictly comic relief, but I like Asshat's personality much more. :) At least he's not a peeping tom pervert.

I'd like to see Asshat try the move on Maya. Then he'd probably get beat up by Maya, Shin, AND Mistuomi. :P
