The articulated ones are pretty decent,
http://web-box.jp/heeyan/wonder2004summer/Tenjo-001.jpg
but I can't say I like the look of the small model types.
http://web-box.jp/heeyan/wonder2004summer/Tenjo-003.jpg
I like the Bome sculpts, however.
http://web-box.jp/heeyan/wonder2004summer/Tenjo-008.jpg
http://web-box.jp/heeyan/wonder2004summer/Tenjo-009.jpg

The busts are nice (mmm...busts),
http://web-box.jp/heeyan/wonder2004summer/Tenjo-006.jpg
except for the chibi Maya, which is kinda freaky...

Bloody hell. Better start saving up again...

Busty Busts
Ya that whole Chibi Maya with the teenage Maya Bustline (I think it's her in the middle of transformation) is kinda, well not my cup of tea. At times Chibi Maya can be very cute but at there are times when I am draw back from it. Just me though

Although I am not a huge fan of manga/anime statues I must admit that these are pretty nice (especially the Bome sculpts - they seem to be of better quality than the others - both look really cool - BTW what are they made of??).
Busts seem pretty nice (except the "transforming" Maya wchich freaks me out).

I also like the looks of this one:
http://web-box.jp/heeyan/wonder2004summer/Tenjo-010.jpg

I'll skip the moving ones...Let's just say that a 21-year old male playing with chicks' action figures is just too weird....

The ones by Yamaguchi Katsuhisa looks pretty good, plus they're movable and pretty detailed (I think). Miyagawa Takeshi, it looks like, does a good job too on the figures as the LE figures of Vol 9 + 12 shows.

damn it, I want one or two of 'em. If I had to choose... man.. that'll be hard.

I'm not aware of any shops which are taking pre-orders at present (though I haven't been checking sites regularly). I'm sure the figures will be up at the usual sites (www.hlj.com etc) in due course.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 84537&rd=1

The 2nd one is just a for a better picture, I wouldn't buy it because its not the original and its a kit (meaning you have to assemble and paint it yourself). Vol. 9 has become a rare gem and when its up for bid on sale on Ebay, it usual sells for over 70$ (Unopened). I use to post Ebay links of Vol. 12 but I think people can probably still get it cheaper from a certain retailers online. Some of the prices on Ebay a pretty steep. 50$ minus shipping, thats close to what i paid for 2 of them.

It seems to me that all of this TT attention has happened in the last few months. Anime, DVD's, its manga licensing and now action figures. Any thoughts on what triggered so much stuff to happen in such a short time? Maybe the anime was a jump off point?

Anime was announced I think.. maybe a year or so ago. I remember reading about it on Natsume Maya's newsblog. You can check the archives, if you'd like, I guess.

So it's not just this sping and summer.

Well it's not the fact of it being sexy. But I think it'd be only right and I'm sure Nagi and Bob have a lot of fans who would want a figure of them. Does it mean their in a bathing suit and flexing? No

Right! I don't think its about whats right as much as what will sell. I assume Maya and Aya figures would bring in more cash than Nagi and Bob (no matter how cool they look  ) . I guess theres a market for Bob & Nagi, maybe sooner or later they will get a figure or bust. Don't they already have some action figures of those guys. I know there are those plastic stand ups that came with one of the UJ (that may count as Nagi and Bob merchandise)

Most likely, it'll be the male fans who will buy TT figures--or perhaps that's what the makers have thought. And what better way to lure them in than putting up figures of Maya and Aya for sale? Besides, they're the top poster girls of this manga, and that's already enough of a good reason for making them.

Maybe once the scene is too saturated with Maya and Aya figures, they'll move on to other characters. But so far, I don't think anyone's really complaining.

Uhm, character songs by Souichirou and Bob..? You mean like an image album?

Figures I can understand, but wow... I wasn't expecting something like that. :? Hmmm. I wonder what this sound drama will be about.

Pinky Street!
I'm kinda tempted now...
I've been meaning to get one of those, and if there are TJTG version, all the better.

Just in case if there are people unfamiliar with Pinky:St.
It's been popular last two years or so.
A few special editions exist, such as Range Murata version, Evangelion version, etc.

edit: lol, well ordered it via amazon.co.jp. They're both the same thing right? the TC and amazon ones they're selling? 'bout $29 in change. Funny I just randomly decided to do this as I was saying to a friend a few weeks ago these things are expensive if you consider what you're actually getting (IMHO). I'm such an hypocrite

From froogle http://www.animeten.com/details.php?aku ... M596C15-01 price of the figure is more but shipping's cheaper.

While we're discussing figures anyone know anyplace that still has the EPOCH statues? Ebay seems to be all that I know(besides Yahoo Japan auctions where they would end up well over $200 after fees) of and they come up so rarely, though I did manage to get Maya in the orange jacket(but lost on Aya in her school outfit kicking, it went for $163)

Animaxis.com you can preorder the Aya one. They have some good stuff, and the shipping gets cheaper if you buy more, unlike all the other japanese places.

Ultrajump's news page has updated with pics of the Natsume Maya Pinky:st. figure. Love the Maya-in-school-uniform figure :)
See also this page:

In the background are various combinations you can make by mixing and matching the various parts of the TenTen figures.

Also, release details for the other TenTen figures mentioned in this thread will be announced at Wonder Festival 2005 Winter on 20 February 2005. Another pic of the action figures sculpted by Yamaguchi Katsuhisa:
