Erm erm do you plan the next chapters and such? :X uh. well, since I started translating the Dogs tank in 2003, I haven't missed a chapter yet. I might not be the fastest guy around, but I'm reliable. I thought about bringing my laptop to Fuji Rock, but in the ended didn't. Had a great time up in t...
you are asking in the wrong place. also, if you don't know what steps to take, my guess is that you don't have the desire and drive to do some research to find out. it isn't an easy process (similar to publication for writers, but with pictures) and isn't something just happens easily. Go hit up a l...
I'm surprised that TJTG will be wrapping up in 3 more chapters, that's for sure. It could be interesting. Practically, it will be nice to have one less thing to do each month. I wouldn't be too surprised if the ending turned out to be a setup for a new series though. We'll just have to wait and see.
well, I got Ultra Jump the other day, but haven't had a chance to read it yet. I probably won't get around to scanning it for a week or two, and translation after that. So it might be a while before you hear from me, but eventually I'll get around to getting a translation out.
I can post my script up if you are interested. I have the original scans around here somewhere too, but most people who was to read the Japanese should just buy it. I guess that isn't possible for some people (not in Japan or whatever.)
I really liked Chapter 51. Lots of exposition. I am really starting to get interested in the world this story takes place in. Well, that is what attracted me to it back in 2001, but it is getting interesting.
was CMX that bad? I thought they did a better job after getting lambasted when the first few volumes came out. I've only read the Japanese versions though, so I don't really know.

Just in which character is talking, but like I already mentioned it isn't something to bother with and like you explained auto-complete. Page 101 Bubble 5 & 6 page 102 bubble 0 & 1.
Fixed that, thanks.
I don't think Madoka was talking literally about a fight to the death.
I don't think there is any way to work in a pun in English that is as natural as the one in Japanese. The comment should be enough to explain it, and people can think about good jokes on their own. I like front/back entrance though, that's pretty good. Did I mess up Masataka / Mitsuomi's name in the...
the work life balance here depends a lot on the company. My general impression though is that hours are longer than in the US, and houses are definitely smaller.
I only provide text translations. I just did a search and am really surprised at how many places have Tenjo Tenge up to read. That must piss off Shueishya.
Anyway, no, I don't post anything. I have a website here, and I put up only text translations.
Dear Oh! Great: I get it. You know a lot about Japanese history. You like the Kojiki. You make heavy use of metaphors and parallels to Japanese mythology.
But man, you write some stuff that is just hard to translate. Good for my education I guess.
Woha! you host Tenjou tenge for online reading too awesome and nice way to add your translation ^_^ actually, no I do not. That's just a link to my home server. If it starts to see usage, it will go away. I really like the idea of making versions of my translations available that are useful for peo...
So has any other translation of this come out? I've been doing a little bit of translation, but since I picked up Super Street Fighter IV the other day, uh... Not so much. Still, really cool chapter. It has got me curious enough to not play SSFIV this morning anyway. I'll try to keep my translation ...
Thanks for the comments. In particular: Keep up and don't let my or anyone else's comments dispirit you. Just try to glean something useful for you out of it. And practice never hurts, right? That's the only reason I've kept at it for all these years. And I should mention, this is absolutely, withou...
I did actually just scan this chapter (and 132) in this afternoon, but probably won't translate it until after Dogs. I guess. I'm still not sure which of the two looks like it will be more fun to work on.
I've probably received more email from Japanese people who want to read the manga I've scanned in Japanese than non-Japanese people interested in learning Japanese. That is one of the primary reasons that I have versions of my translations available as raw with pop-up English translations (not that ...
ugh, absolutely no progress on the manga translation front. I ran into an old incantation from the kojiki in the opening chapters of VGD 10. Interesting, but the research behind the translation is taking a lot more time than I anticipated.
amazon delivered my April Ultra Jump today. So, do I scan it tonight while the wife is out drinking with her work friends? go out drinking myself? Play some more Fallout 3? Beat down on the other Tokyo locals on PS3 Street Fighter IV? Continue trying to get xrandr working on my OLPC under Teapot's U...
I'll get around to it eventually. But if you want things done fast, you're in the wrong place. Like I said, I had even forgotten to order the new ultra jump until this thread popped up. Hopefully that shows up today or tomorrow.
